Mahek Praful Shah is an aspiring business professional enrolled at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Currently studying towards his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Mahek is also the owner and chairman of his own firm, Mahek Praful Shah Enterprises. He may still be in college, but Mahek has already exhibited a focus and commitment that would be the envy of other people twice his age.

In the pursuit of his goals, Mahek has joined in a number of key organizations that would be invaluable in helping him along his planned career path. He signed for membership with the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), an organization that supports and encourages young people like Mahek in achieving their career goals. One of the primary activities of the organization is helping aspiring young professionals by providing them with business advice and a broader business perspective. For Mahek, joining FBLA is a way of equipping himself with essential skills while helping others achieve their own business goals. He is currently Vice-President of Community Service at FBLA.
Another organization that he joined in order to spur on his professional career growth is the business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. Like FBLA, the fraternity encourages aspiring young professionals to develop their professional careers while teaching them valuable business skills. The fraternity also instills in its members lessons centered on brotherhood and professionalism, both of which are essential qualities for any prospective entrepreneur or career professional.

Business is only one aspect of Mahek’s plans. A descendant of Indian nationals, the Charlotte, North Carolina-born young man is keen to explore and celebrate his roots. To this end, he has enlisted in Sangama, an organization that aims to promote various aspects of South Asian culture in the United States. Among the most notable activities of the organization is the hosting of interpretive dance competitions throughout the year, which for Mahek is an ideal opportunity to highlight the best that South Asian culture has to offer.
At present, much of Mahek’s time is spent focusing on his studies and running his company which he founded and currently chairs. Although it is still a fledgling operation, Mahek Praful Shah Enterprises has already shown considerable potential for success, and indicates the direction where Mahek is headed in the future.

One other factor that is a clear indicator of Mahek’s success is his affinity for technology and innovation. From a very young age, he has displayed a talent for operating all kinds of gadgets and electronic devices, with his seemingly natural abilities pointing the way toward a career in a tech-related field. Even as he is in the planning stages of his future career, it is apparent that technology will play a central role in whatever business path he wishes to pursue.
